I started building the food Trailer I call the Wushack around April 1, 2025. I wanted to build a food unit that was unique, I like the look of handmade things and the Wushack reflects just that. It’s different and unique and hopefully will turn some heads when running down the road. I started out with a trailer that was setup for construction work purposes, I stripped the trailer down to it’s metal frame, rewired the lights and give the frame a good cleaning. Added the flooring first, let me add that everything in the Wushack Gyro King Trailer is brand new, covered the floor with a nice vinyl flooring, waterproof and easy to keep clean. Then the walls I began to build, the walls are covered with metal with a wood trimming to give the trailer the wu unique look, wanted it to look old but its anything but old it’s brand new. built platforms in the front of trailer to hold the two 66 gallon drums, the drums are made from pvc, they are certified to be safe to hold drinking water. in other words you can drink the water right out of these drums. pvc is the material used in making water pipes that controls the flow of water thru your houses. one of the drums holds the clean water we use to wash dishes and wash hands, the second drum is the disposal waste drum where all the water ends up after it runs thru our sinks, the trailer is equipped with 4 sinks, one handwashing sink and 3 other sinks for washing, cleaning and rinsing dishes etc.. the trailer is equipped with hot water delivered by our tankless water heater, the greatest invention in heating water, I use tankless water heater in my home. a 12 volt water pump to drive a good stream of water thru spickets.
Inside of trailer all our countertops are covered with metal for easy cleaning and to control bacteria etc. you will find our food truck is always clean, our servers wash hands regularly and always wear rubber gloves when handling food. Cleanliness is our priority one.
the inside walls and ceiling are covered with wood paneling, for safety reasons we have covered the walls 24″ high up the walls and extends down to our metal countertops, this is for fire protection but also cleanliness. above our cooking area we have installed a ventilation system to remove smoke and odors.
[ngg src=”galleries” ids=”1″ display=”basic_thumbnail” images_per_page=”16″ use_imagebrowser_effect=”1″ maximum_entity_count=”500″]Our food truck is equipped with a refrigerator and a freezer, Rotisserie for cooking our one of a kind Gyro’s with our special homemade sauce, double deep fryer for cooking our french fries and onion rings, spring rolls also deep fried. cooking plate for cooking hamburgers and hot dogs, crock pots for our coney sauce and and fried rice. bun warmer to heat up buns. veggie trays kept cool with ice for tomatoes, onions, lettuce, pickles, our food truck is simple with a simple menu. all of our food is prepared after customer orders, we do not cook burgers, hot dogs ahead of time, you will get fresh every time. our gyro meat is always cooking on our rotisserie, turning slowly and cooking in the great taste of gyro meat, we test all our meats with a cooking temperature gauge to insure the meat has been cooked to a temperature of at minimum 170 degrees. we take our work seriously and pay attention to details to insure the best tasting food intown.
our truck is equipped with internet service, this allows us to accept any kind of payments, credit cards, bank, cash, etc. I recommend people to join our website at https://wushack.net, you can place orders and pay on our website which is really convenient to extend your lunch break, you could order and pay from within your work and when it’s lunch time your order will be ready or at least being worked on. when a order is placed online at our website we hear a doorbell inside the food truck we have an order. becoming a member also keeps receipts on your orders, you also earn points which can be exchanged for discount coupons on future purchases, you only get these benefits though by ordering on our website as a member.
We have also teamed up with DOORDASH for our delivery services, to order at home and have it delivered you will need to place your order on the DOORDASH website, they have a great app easy to use, search for Wushack Gyro King to find us on DOORDASH!
I must say I have had a great time building the Wushack, but that work is done now and it’s time to start cooking the best food in town, We take great pride in what were doing and will cook your food and prepare it just like we are preparing it for ourselves. welcome to the Gyro King!
